what was the intention to start oscar junior foundation.
Show Your Humanity By Doing Charity
Oscar Junior Foundation , a Kenyan social development organization, is directly benefitting over 150,000
children and their families every year. We have more than 400 live welfare projects on education,
healthcare, livelihood, and women’s empowerment in remote villages and urban informal settlements across
counties in Kenya. The groundwork for a better life lies in education. It is the most powerful catalyst for
social transformation. However, a child cannot be educated in isolation. Only an empowered family,
especially the mother, would be willing to educate their child. Thus, rather than focusing on only one
stage of a person's life, we believe in the lifecycle approach. Education empowers an individual to earn
their livelihood and also increases one's awareness on a range of issues. From healthcare, to appropriate
social behavior, to understanding one's rights – Oscar Junior Foundation seeks to educate, empower and cultivate
better citizens.

When there is a major imbalance, NGOs exists to balance the see-saw. NGOs like Oxfam Kenya play
a significant role in ensuring that every child especially the poor receive the opportunity to
build a better future through education. Many NGOs like Oxfam Kenya, Save the Children, World
Vision, and UNICEF work at the grass-root level in Kenya to strengthen the education
system, spread awareness about the importance of education and enrol as many children as
possible so they can thrive in life.
If you actively work/volunteer will help you to make a positive contribution in the growth and
development of the society. You can work for the cause you are most passionate about.
You get a chance to design and plan on both- a larger scale and for a longer period of time.
Your goals may take either years or decades to get accomplished. European Public Health Alliance
promotes and protects the health of all people living in Europe and encourages greater
participation of citizens in making health-related policy at the European level.

could mean for our cause. What could KES 1,000 do for a needy child? A gift like this can cover
school supplies or a week of meals. What about KES 5,000, or a recurring monthly gift of KES
2,500? Provide clear examples that will empower your readers to give.
Kenya is classified as a water-scarce country, with renewable freshwater resources of only around
647 cubic metres per person each year, well below the international water scarcity threshold.
Roughly 85% of the country is arid or semi-arid, and demand for water continues to grow rapidly.
Water is one of the most important inputs essential for crops.
Both it's shortage and excess affects the growth and development of the plants, yields and quality
of produce. There are numerous methods to reduce such losses and to improve soil moisture. These are
mulching, cropping, planting of trees, utilization of fog or dew by net-surfacing traps or polythene
sheets, contour farming, transfer of water from surplus areas to deficit areas by inter-linking
water systems through canals, desalination technologies such as distillation, electro-dialysis and
reverse osmosis, use of efficient watering systems such as drip irrigation and sprinklers will
reduce the water consumption by plants. The most important step in the direction of finding
solutions to issues of water and environmental conservation is to change people's attitudes and
habits; this includes each one of us.

abuse; however, for a long time, child protection services remained the domain of private
